It has now been confirmed that Professor Shelley Heard has resigned from the MMC team effective yesterday.
An official statement is awaited from the Dept of Health.

Verified information, she resigned the day before yesterday & effective yesterday.
MMC communications team too busy in firefighting meetings to comment.
